In and Around Wiesbaden ~ There is always something to discover
The regional capital city of Wiesbaden, with its 15 hot springs and mineral waters, offer visitors a wide variety of options for relaxation, sightseeing and entertainment.
Apart from festivals such as the Theatrium (Wilhelmstrassen-Festival), Germany's biggest street festival, or the Rhine's Wine Week, the city offers several other perhaps less well-known festivals and events.
To name a few: In Spring there is the middle and east European film festival goEast, the May Theater Festival of the Opera House and in summer the Rhein's Music Festival. The international Equestrian Jumping Tournament brings international horse professionals and fans to the region. In the autumn there is the Thanksgiving festival in the Kurpark and in the Winter the famous Christmas market.
