Laura Chavin Junior Suite
In 1998, after six years of development, Helmut Bührle and his company "Laura Chavin Cigars" at Castle Hochdorf introduced their first cigar. Like the company, it was named after his daughter "Laura Chavin".
Today his cigars, which are produced in the Dominican Republic, are among the best in the world. When asked about his philosophy, his answer is simple: "To make great cigars." When asked what luxury meant to him, he answered: "For me, it is to be able to eat a portion of pan-fried potatoes on the edge of my bed after a long journey home."
His attitude suits us fine and so we have chosen Laura Chavin as a theme in our Junior Suite (Room 308). You can enjoy his cigars from our exclusive Laura Chavin Depot on the room's private balcony or in our Frenchroom where they are stored in a custom-made humidor. (A photo of this "Cigar Sculpture" can be seen on the right top of this page.)
Pan-fried potatoes are also available. You can enjoy them on the edge of your bed or in our restaurant.
Our Junior Suites are equipped with Shower and Toilet, Telephone, WLAN Internet Access, TV (German, English, French, Italian), selection of international films to order (free of charge!), Flatscreen, DVD/CD-Player, Radio, Dolby Surround Sound System, Safe, Ironing Station and private Balcony with Garden view.
